Honeywell has launched the company’s latest indoor air purifiers – Honeywell Air Touch I8 and Honeywell Air Touch A5 in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 11,490. Both the air purifier comes in White & Gold colours and available on e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and PayTM as well as on offline retail stores. The Honeywell Air Touch A5 in White colour cost Rs. 11,490 while the Honeywell Air Touch A5 in Gold colour cost Rs. 12,990 and the Honeywell Air Touch I8 Air Purifier in White cost Rs. 20,990 while Honeywell Air Touch I8 Air Purifier in Gold colour cost Rs. 22,990 respectively. The company has developed its Air Touch range of air purifiers to address the ever-growing problem of air pollution inside homes in India. Both the air purifier comes with pre-filter, HEPA filter, and the company’s patented HiSiv technology that comprises of an activated carbon filter. The company claims that the three-layer filter combination helps in eliminating large dust particles, bacteria, formaldehyde, harmful gases, and volatile organic compounds. Honey Air Touch I8 and A5 offer a PM2.5 removal efficiency of greater than 99 percent.
Both the purifiers sports touch panel and it offers various features such as variable fan speed, an air quality indicator, child lock, and sleep mode. Some other features of both air purifiers are 3D airflow, anti-fall design, and real-time ambient air pollution measurement.
Honeywell also unveiled its public awareness-led campaign which talks about the relatively unknown hazards of indoor air pollution. To promote the campaign, Honeywell associated with Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. At the launch event, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan said:
